Over the last 25 years, Kybele has partnered hand-in-hand with hospitals and governments across Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe to change that reality. Together, we’ve helped drive a 15% reduction in newborn mortality and improved the standards and quality of care. — proof that progress is possible.
Now, as global funding for maternal and newborn health faces historic cuts, that progress is at risk. Overseas aid cuts are poised to erase decades of progress. Without action, experts forecast an additional 140,000 maternal deaths, 634,000 stillbirths, and 1.25 million newborn deaths by 2030.
It’s time to meet the moment — and step up for mothers and babies everywhere.
