The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) headquartered in Seattle, WA has awarded Kybele a grant totaling $20,000.  The purpose of the IASP Initiative for Improving Education grant is to fund travel and clinical training including pain eduction for three Kybele projects:  One in Ghana ($12,000); one in Armenia ($4,000) and one in Georgia ($4,000).

Founded in 1973, IASP brings together scientists, clinicians, healh care providers and policy makers to stimulate and support the study of pain and to translate that knowledge into improved pain relief worldwide.  Currently IASP has more than 6,500 members from 123 countries and in 82 chapters.

This is the second grant Kybele has received from the IASP.  We are overwhelming grateful for their support.
